When I was conceptualising the idea for this photoshoot, I needed something to work in favour of my budget, as period costumes would be impossible to obtain on short notice. So I decided to do a more subtle and avant-garde take on the play by modernising the costumes, yet keeping it somewhat traditional and stoic, to match the themes of the show.
